Martha was in town last week end

Martha was in town for a quick visit last week end. We shopped and ate, went to church, she and Dad and our friend Polly went to see the new Batman. Not my cup o tea, but they enjoyed it. Here we are are our way to church.

Trip to the Tri Cities

We traveled to the Tri Cities over the weekend to attend my friend Julie's wedding. We didn't take too many pictures, these two were taken in a park in Richland. Beautiful spot on the Columbia River. Great spot for families. Lots to do. Also, a museum close by. Very nice.

Flower Power

Our next door neighbor has a very good friend who gives her a flower basket each year. This is probably the biggest one she's ever received. It's somewhere between 3 and 4 feet wide. People come walking up the drive way just to see it. Quite something. The rose below is ours. I'd like to say we are responsible for this lovely thing, but, alas, we are not. They came with the house.
