More Santa Barbara....

Went just spent the last four days in Santa Barbara visiting Muf, Zach and Augie. They are preparing to move to Pasadena, so this was our last S.B. trip. We'll probably go back some day, but certainly not with the same regularity that has been in the past. Martha has lived there for 17 years. There was a saying good bye party given by many of their friends on Sunday, as well as Augie's dedication at church. It was a happy time, but also a time of many tears. We did some working around the house to get ready for the move, and ate out at a few of our favorite places. We found a new spot we really like, called Yogurtland. It's a wonderful concept and the yougurt is great. One can only hope that someone will open one in Pasadena. We drove around town a bit on Saturday, remembering many good times. We'll miss you Santa Barbara.

Boathouse for Brunch

This is a lovely little restaurant right on the water. The waves were very unusual, as they were pretty big. Not good for surfing I guess. The break up too soon. However, great for watching.
The recent rain storms they have had created all this "water churning".

Solid food.

Kaylene brought her parents over for dinner Saturday night. She is starting to eat some solid foods. She seems to enjoy rice cereal and squash. Peas? Not so much!
