I was just looking at some old photos. Here is one of Martha and Dave one Halloween. I had one of these clown suits myself for a while. They were great for all sorts of times you needed a costume. Had a friend make them for us.

Dad's trip to Nevada

Winter's House, Bellevue, WA.

Dave and I are volunteers, once a month, at the Winter's House in Bellevue. It is really a treasure. It is on the National Record of Historic Places and has been fully restored. It is on Bellevue Way, near the entrance to I 90. Most folks don't even know it's there. We love to show it off and it costs nothing to go through. So, if you live on the Eastside or are visiting, stop in. There are people who can show you around, Thurs. Fri. and Sat. from 10 am til 2 pm. You can also walk the trails behind the house, anytime. It makes for a very nice outing.

Last day in Santa Barbara

Monday was our last day in Santa Barbara. We shopped a bit with Martha, met the Becchio's for lunch. That evening we went out for pizza with the Carlson's. It's was a great trip, we had a great time.

Sunday afternoon sight seeing

Zach took us to the Arboretum Sunday afternoon. It is a lovely spot, I really enjoyed the peacocks and so much California vegetation. It was a beautiful sunny day, I even got a little sunburn. My skin doesn't know how to react to sun anymore. =)

More Southern California

We drove to the Holt family cabin for the afternoon. We took a scenic drive around the area and had a wonderful dinner.

We went to Santa Barbara this past week to visit Martha. We had great weather and a wonderful time. We went to Pasadena to visit Zach and his family. Fun time.

Jolene's Birthday celebratiion

Last evening, eight of us went to Maggiano's in Bellevue to celebrate Jolene's birthday. Had a great time and we were all stuffed when we left. We choose from the family style menu and there is always a ton of food. Always, left overs. Nice evening. Happy Birthday, Jolene!!!

Last evening we had our annual Valentine Banquet. It is always a lot of fun. These are photos of getting ready for the party, etc.

Lorraine Clegern and I spent some time today finalizing the plans and menu for the Advance Group Valentine Banquet. I praise God for Lorraine, for her expertise and her willingness to make our event a success!! And.......she just became a Grandmother!! How exciting!

Coal Creek Hike

Dave and a friend went on a hike in the Coal Creek area yesterday morning. Here are a couple of pictures. David Jr. I believe you worked in this area a few years back.

Last evening Polly Bauer and I went to SPU to see a talent show and see Cory Shepherd being honored as a member of this year's Homecoming Court. Fun evening, Cory fixed dinner for us at his apartment. His sister Lindsey was there also.
