Dave and Norm's trip to Utah.

Dave and his friend Norm, took a trip, several weeks back, to So. Utah. They hiked in many of the beautiful areas that are located there. I've always thought, they should just name of all of So. Utah at National Park. There is so much to see and marvel at, you can't possibly see it all in a lifetime. Anyway here are some photos. On the way they stopped at Twin Falls, Idaho. The first two pics are of the falls. I would like to go to Twin Falls just to see these. Impressive, I think.

The above photo is of Dave going through one of those very narrow canyons. I think it would give me the he-b-gee-b's! The bottom photo is taken at Goblin Valley State Park. The piles of stones are called "goblins". Who knew!

A little visit......

A while back, Dave, Jolene and Kaylene came over for pizza. Was a very nice evening of eating, looking out the window, playing with cars, talking, watching a little TV. This window appears to be a favorite for both grandchildren.

Visit from UB and Aunt "Snoo"

Back in March my brother and his wife came to the west coast for a short visit. The main purpose of the trip was to see our grandchildren. They were here for about 3 days and then went to Pasadena to visit the kids that live there. We had a couple of great visits with Kaylene and her parents, but we also visited the Capitol building in Olympia. Took a tour and found it very interesting. The chandelier that hangs from the dome is big enough to hold a VW bug. It is also very secure. Standing right under it is supposedly the safest place to be in the building, during a earthquake. There are a couple of docents there who aren't too sure. =) After our little tour we went to the Bremerton ferrry dock and took the boat across. The weather wasn't too great, but UB took photos anyway. After our day of touring around we went to Dave and Jolene's for dinner. Nice time, I wish they could have stayed longer. However Pasadena and Augie were calling and after all the reason for the trip was "the kids".
