The "Wildtree" neighbors.

Last evening Dave and I met with our former neighbors from Wildtree. Judy, Gloria, Rich and Rick. We went to Cucina Cucina for pizza and lots of catch up conversation. Nice time. Hope we can do it again soon.

Blue Dog

We are still unloading boxes left over from the move. We bought a little bookcase to house some of Martha's books. I also dug up one of her friends from childhood, gave him a bath and put him on a shelf. She did name him Blue Dog.

Looking forward to warmer weather....

Last Saturday turned out to be a pretty decent day, so Dave scrubbed the deck and got all the grubbies off from winter. Next thing is to paint it. We're not so fond of the "golden" color. Hopefully, we will then be able to bring up our chairs, put out some flowers and enjoy the outdoors.

Easter Sunday

Dave, Jolene, Dalene, Jacquie, Paul, Dave and I all got together for Easter dinner. The table before we all sat down to eat. Very nice day.

Very cozy

This is the fireplace, directly across from the kitchen area. I realize these photos and the stuff I'm writing is in here backwards. Got to remember how to post things.
Katie, Terri and I in the kitchen/great room. Really nice.

Steve and Terri's place

Last week we went to Gig Harbor to see the home our niece Terri and her husband Steve were building. It has quite a bit left to be done, but what is there is wonderful. This of course is the front.

The last of the Chicago photos.

I spent the last part of my trip with Bob and Sue. It was pretty cold and they had an incredible amount of snow on the ground. They are pretty tired of winter at this point.
Uncle Bob and me. We are standing in front of what was a great pot roast dinner.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Sue
Charlie and Jill came over for dinner after the shower and brought their new puppy. Athena. Nice dog, quite the jumper!

Dad went to Mt Rainer to snow shoe....

with some friends last Friday. They had a wonderful time.
Norm, Frank and Dad, enjoying the day.
Some friends, enjoying breakfast and looking forward to our speaker. Nice time.

A little change from the Chicago trip.....

On March 5th our village within Providence Point had a women's breakfast. Was fun and tasty too. Here's some of the people on our committee, festive huh?

Betsy's new home

Betsy and Aunt Sue in front of Betsy's new home. It's very pretty, spacious and airy.

Few more shower pics...

Aunt Sue and Betsy. Put the cursor in the middle of the page and make the photo bigger, you can see them better.

More shower

At the end of the event, Uncle Bob, his friend Rick and Charlie stopped by to check in on the festivities. Bob and Rick were friends in High School. I hadn't seen Rick in years.
Not the greatist photo of Jill opening her gifts, but it does show some of the pretty things on the table. What you can't see is the food, which was exceptional.

Leaving for the shower.

Aunt Therese and I all ready for the shower. We drove into the city to meet up with the others. I think we look pretty snappy!

Cute, huh?

This is Kevin and his wife Erin. We are at Mike and Erin's apartment getting ready to drive to the shower. I know this is confusing, but both guys married Erins.

I left last Saturday morning for the Chicago area. My nephew, Charlie, is marrying a lovely young lady whose name is Jill. My sister in law, Sue, and her sisters gave a wonderful shower/brunch for her on Sunday. So, I got to spend some time with my brother Fred and his wife Therese and my brother Bob and his wife Sue. I love these people and it was a wonderful time for me.
Uncle Fred on Sunday morning, after a long night of talking. I think this is a nice picture.
