Everything is here.

It's all in the garage until we have the painters and the rug cleaners in, then the fun really starts.

It's getting very close.

We had the Salvation Army come by today and pick up some furniture. The house is very empty. We leave on Thursday.

An afternoon on the Royal Argosy

Our friends John and Mary invited a couple of us to brunch on the Royal Argosy yesterday. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful time. If you live in Seattle you should do this. If you don't live here, come to Seattle and do this.
The group having just finished lunch. We're all very happy.

Last "push" around the yard at 18221

This will hopefully be the last time Dave has to mow a lawn. The place we're moving to has lawn care included in the home owners dues.

Hydrangea

Young David gave me this hydrangea for Mother's Day or my birthday (can't remember which) several years ago. It has turned into a really pretty blooming plant. We're going to take it with us to the new house.

Dad on the Deck

Dad enjoying coffee on his deck. We've really enjoyed our deck and will miss it. The new one is smaller, but I'm sure we'll enjoy that one as well.

Guest Room

This is the guest room in our new house. The present owners have it painted a bright pink and it has a very French decor. We're going to paint in light blue and I don't think it'll look French. It's a very nice size and we hope we'll have some visitors.

Our July 4th outing

Yesterday morning we caught a bus in the morning and went into the city. We had a coffee and walked down to the waterfront, stopping along the way to window shop etc. We had our lunch on a pier and just enjoyed the weather and the day. Just as we were about to leave a fire started on a pier several piers down. It was a little scary, as there were many people around, but it was put out in about 15 minutes, but was exciting for a while.
The day ended with a nice event. Zach asked Martha to marry him. A very exciting day!
