Last Friday

Dad and I went downtown and joined some friends of ours for a tour of the Seattle Art Museum and some lunch. Here are Dave and Tom in the lobby. The hanging cars with all the lights are interesting, but we don't exactly know what they are all about. Later in the evening Dave and I went to a local shopping center to help with an Eastside Hertiage Center event. Kids could come in and pretend to make bread, or grind coffee in a old grinder or make butter out of cream in churns. Everyone had fun. Dave and I came home sort of tired after our long day.

Happy Mom

It's been so long since I've posted anything, I've almost forgotten how. Anyway, Dave and a friend created some shelves for me in the closet that houses our furnace. It has opened up a whole new world of storage space for me. You can tell how exciting our life is when a bunch of shelves makes such excitement.

Women's Breakfast

Earlier this month we had our annual Providence Point Women's Breakfast. My sister-in-law, Karen, gave a presentation of the History of Bellevue. It was very well received and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We had pastries and fruit for a light breakfast. Here are some photos of the event.

Dad went sno shoeing

Dave went to Mt. Ranier last week end and certainly used his snow shoes. It looks to me as tho' they had plenty of snow. The photo below is formations created by the wind blowing. They look like dinosaurs to me. What do you think? Photos farther down show him taking a spill, which he says was fun.

This looks like work to me!
