More Kayaking photos

Dad said there were waterfalls everywhere. Seems to be so. The girls below were the guides for the group for the trip.

More of Dad's trip.

The scenery is pretty incredible.

Dad the kayaker!

He's looking pretty dry here. I don't think he was for a lot of this trip.

Chatterbox Falls

I thought these falls were pretty spectacular!

Dad's kayaking trip to Beyond Malibu

Dave took a trip to Canada for a kayaking trip with several people from our church. They had some wet, cold weather, but a good time was had by all. Here he is about to get into his kayak complete with cute little kayak skirt. I guess this thing really keeps the water out! Below is some of the lovely Canadian scenery they experienced. More in the days to come

Heres a nice picture of Dad and his friend Pete at work. They look so spiffy!

Dad and the cans.

Last Monday evening, not to be outdone by Muf and Zach (sounds like a comedy team!), we had our friends, Bill and Bonni, over for dinner. It was getting pretty dark and the photos aren't great. Anyway, here they are and a picture of Dad taking the garbage cans down to the street for pick up on Tuesday. Sometimes I have to REALLY search for something to put on this thing!

Friends for dinner.

Happy Birthday, Ray

Dalene, Dad, and me.

D and J

Last Saturday evening, Dave and Jolene hosted a birthday party for Jolene and Dalene's dad. We had a wonderful dinner and lots of laughs. Ray got a couple of nice gifts and a good time was had by all. Dalene had spent some time in DC this past month and found me a new wind up toy. It's a space shuttle that runs about and every so often the hatch opens and an astronaut pops out. Kinda fun. I can't seem to find any new ones when I go places, but fortunately I have a few kids in my life who manage to do so. I have a pretty large collection of these things, maybe I'll post some others later.

Newest wind-up toy.

The Blue Angels

Dad was invited to go to the Museum of Flight to see the departure of the Blue Angels before they leave on their practice runs. It's really quite a sight and an operation. Fun stuff.
