Just because....

Remembering......

I was poking around the mall a few days ago, looking at all the cute clothes to buy for kids, for Easter. It reminded me of all the fun I had buying Easter Sunday clothes for the kids. Here is a photo from one of those years. Seems like yesterday.

Visiting Polly

Went to visit Polly last night at her new dwelling. This is her family room/kitchen. It's a very nice home that she is renting for the time being. Had great pizza!

This is a really cute coffee shop. The ladies inside are very friendly. Fun!

If you enlarge the previous photo, you can see just how full of blossoms the tree was.

Seattle

We went into the city yesterday to visit the Physical Therapist. After the appointment we walked around the city a bit. Found this absolutely glorius fruit tree in full bloom! Then we stopped at a little coffe shop for a latte and a muffin. We walked back into the city center and took our bus back home. Lovely morning, the sun was out and the sky was blue! Whoopeee!

Lovely legs

I went to a Physical Therapist yesterday to find out why my knee and leg hurt and to see what could be done about it. We think it'll be pretty easy to correct, however, there was a lot of measuring of my legs and video taping of my walk. I get to see the tapes and hear (hopefully) the solution to my aches and pains. Anyway, she measured different spots on my legs and feet and here are the lovely results. Pretty huh? Bet this made your day. =)

He almost fits!

Guess who called and asked if he could come to dinner? Soooo, we watered the "stir fry" and had a nice dinner with lots of great talk.

Weekend

The weather was pretty nice this week end. Dad went with a friend to snowshoe in the Cascades, I went to a baby shower and Sunday we grilled on the deck.

Birthday Party!

Last evening we went to dinner with some friends to Ztejas, to celebrate our friend Bill's birthday. After dinner we went to his home to have cake and ice cream to properly commemerate his growing a year older. Note Bonni's Valentine tree which will soon turn into a Easter tree.

Spring is coming to Wildtree!

Spring is truly a glorius time in the Pacific Northwest. The flowers, the colors, the smells, all truly amazing. These are a few of the fruit trees on our street. They are always the first bloomers and give us the jump start we need after our winter.

Saturday night fun.

Dave and I went to Crossroads mall to listen to a great country and western band. Our friends the Henderson's asked us to meet them for dinner and the concert. We're very glad they did. They are always fun to be with, the food was good and the entertainment super. Here are the lovely ladies.

One more wedding photo

This is my Dad and two brothers. Don't you love it UF and UB?

Friday night

After microwave shopping we decided to go to Bellevue Square, have something to eat and do some window shopping and people watching. We went to Zteja's, a Southwestern restaurant, then just poked around. The picture is at Center Court in the Square, sorry it's a bit fuzzy.

New Microwave!

Friday afternoon we went shopping for a new microwave. It's amazing to me how much we use one of these things. Our old one went out on Tuesday and I felt like my right arm was tied behind my back. Geez. Anyway, here is the new one, and it even has a night light! What a deal.

Us

Dad and I were having our evening tea and decided to put something on the blog, as I haven't in several days. Not much happening and the weather is sorta gloomy. So, we took photos of each other and one of the table that is between our chairs. Dad put them all together, didn't turn out great, but worth a laugh.

Very nice surprise!

Polly called this am and asked if we could meet her AND Betsy for coffee. Well, certainly. It was great to see her and she's looking great. I don't think she's changed a bit. Such fun. In case you're reading this and don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about. Betsy is Polly's sister from Chicago and we haven't seen her in years.

Dad and I went over to Microsoft the other day to go to lunch with Dave. It's quite a cafeteria, anything you could want for lunch is there at a very decent price, and drinks are free. Nice perk. We didn't have our camera so you have to settle for Dave in the living room with his name tag on and drinking his coffee from a Microsoft cup. You make do with what you have!
