Klett/Nachman wedding weekend on the East Coast

We spent the last 5 days in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area of the country, to attend the wedding of our nephew Peter and his new wife Jessica. We had a great time and the weather and the wedding were beautiful. This is me Aunt Karen and Uncle Ken standing in front a little shop in Smithville, a lovely little town where the wedding was held. This was the day before and we were there to check out the venue for the rehearsal dinner which was that evening. After making sure all was well, we went off to Atlantic City. We spent most of the afternoon walking up and down the boardwalk, thinking of Monopoly, buying souvenirs, and finally eating lunch in an Irish Pub that had remarkably good food and reasonable prices.

We gathered together to celebrate Dave Sr and Dalene's September birthdays. I thought this was especially nice of Jolene and Dalene.

Kaylene came to dinner.

Last evening Dave, Jolene and Kaylene came to dinner. We hadn't seen her in a while and she is really growing. Aunt Karen and Uncle Ken came to dinner as well to meet her. She was a big hit and let us all hold her. Passing around still seems to be a good thing.

The ladies spent a couple of nights at a lovely hotel in Santa Barbara. Zach came over to have some pool time with us. He and Martha are enjoying it. Actually, we all did as it was very warm last week end.

Santa Barbara

Spent several days, last week, in Santa Barbara visiting Martha and Zach. The main purpose was to attend a shower for Martha on Saturday. She has many wonderful friends and I might add a great family! She received many cute and practical gifts. We had a great time and did many things as well as the party. Will post more photos later.

While I was in Santa Barbara for the shower, Dad and some friends hiked into the Goat Rocks area for a couple of days. Here he is fixing pancakes. yummmmmm
