Trip to Pasadena

While Dave was kayaking for a week in Canada, I went to Pasadena to visit Muf, Zach and Augie. We both had a great time on our trips, I'll publish a few pictures from Dad's in the days to come. The Holt's and I did a lot of fun things. Lunches, play times, meeting some of their new friends, shopping with old friends, swimming lessons, a little friends birthday party and just being together. Augie got a new car seat and some bright red Van's sneakers. He also got his haircut. The week went by entirely too fast. Good times.

Kaylene came for a visit.

Kaylene spent a couple of days with us this week. Here are some photos. Her and grandpa and playing on the grass with her Mom at the end of the day. Her dad was on a Kayak trip and her mom had to work. Her mom spent the night with us as well. You'll note - she is still helping unload the dishwasher. She's a good helper!

Dinner party

Last Saturday night, Dave and I invited a few of our friends over for dinner. We had lasagna and the ladies in the group brought a salad and a dessert. Thank you very much ladies. We added some bread and all was yummy. We had a lovely evening, good food, conversation and friends. We are very fortunate people.

Striped PJ's

When Dave and Jolene stayed with us last weekend, Kaylene brought her very special striped pajamas. She looked so cute crawling around in them, I almost hated to see her get dressed. You'll note she is enjoying her shoes. Before we know it she'll be putting them on and tying them! Time goes so fast, it doesn't seem possible that she is a year old.
