We went inside the Guild Hall in downtown Grantham and this gentleman gave us a wonderful tour and told us amazing things about the town. It's been in existence since before the Romans

What is he holding?
He is holding a Mace. It is used for a variety of ceremonies. It's carried in parades and used when local officals are instilled in office. I think Dad sent you a article on what a mace is. I believe it was used as a weapon way back when. momk
